Vacation Bible School

Every year, First Baptist Church of Kennett Square holds its Vacation Bible School for area children.

The premise? Kids are under a lot of pressure at home and at school. We teach them that they are not alone, that God has the power to help them stand strong. Each night there is a Bible point – Jesus carries us through the storms we experience in our lives. That concept is taught through song, games, video, snacks, and Bible stories.

The Bible stories show God helping people in difficult situations. We teach the children that God is present in their lives, and He will help them too.

VBS is for children in kindergarten through fifth grade.
