FBC's Seniors Ministry

Events that provide times of fellowship and community

The monthly senior luncheons have been paused because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Check this page for updates on when we will resume the luncheons.

FBC’s Senior Ministry

Every last Thursday of the month from September through April, First Baptist hosts a senior luncheon.

The monthly gathering for senior citizens from around the community first began in March 2004. The focus was on recognizing seniors and ensuring they felt welcomed and loved.

The senior community is very important to the life of First Baptist Church of Kennett Square!  We celebrate this community by having a once-a-month event that provide times of fellowship and community.

These monthly luncheons (starting at noon) include a delicious meal, fellowship, and a program. The programs feature musical programs, informational presentations or inspiring stories.

Approximately 50 to 60 people attend each month from all over Southern Chester County – and even a few from Delaware County. Sign-ups are not required; just come and enjoy the food, fellowship and fun.  Once you have visited for the first time, we’ll record your address and be sure to send you an e-mail or a postcard as a reminder each month.

Can we help you find something?
