Opportunities for connection and spiritual formation

The following fellowship / spiritual growth opportunities will be taking place starting this week via Zoom.

  • You can attend these opportunities using your phone or computer.
  • Zoom is easily installed on your computer and makes use of your computer’s camera and microphone so you can see and hear other participants.
  • If you do not have, or do not wish, the ability to connect via computer we can give you a phone number that will allow you to participate in the groups.

BOOK CLUB

Facilitator: Nancy Nicewonger

Spiritual Formation: Following the Movements of the Spirit is a book by Henri Nouwen that looks at the movements of the heart.

Many of us seek to live a spiritual life. It is easy to become overwhelmed by feelings that block the pursuit of a life of following God.

The group will meet via Zoom on Thursdays from 6:30-7:30 p.m., starting Thursday, May 14.

THE BOOK OF REVELATION — What Jesus wants us to know

Facilitator: Ken Smith

The focus of this study will be to explore what can be understood with certainty about Jesus’ revelation which we can learn and obey. The study will work its way through the 22 chapters of Revelation, focusing each week’s study on those things that Jesus revealed with clarity and certainty.

The group will meet via Zoom on Sundays at 7 p.m. starting Sunday, May 17.

CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUP

Caregivers come in many different shapes, sizes, and from a wide variety of experiences. No matter the journey, one truth rings true — being a caregiver is hard work.

The caregiver group is now meeting online as we continue to support one another during a time when caregiving has unique challenges.
