Meet the Staff of First Baptist Church of Kennett Square!Monica Fragale – Administrative Assistant
Monica Fragale joined the FBC family in March 2015 as its part-time administrative assistant. A lifelong Episcopalian married to a lifelong Catholic, Monica soon found her workplace home — and her spiritual home — at First Baptist.
God had his hand in bringing her here, as it was an online posting that first caught her attention for the job. Its location (very close to her home), the job description (a chance to use her talents for something different), and the people (so very welcoming) made the decision an easy one.
Monica spent the first half of her career working as a reporter and editor with various newspapers, and the next half working for non-profit organizations. This job offered the opportunity to use all her past experience in a way that would help other people, and it has been a joy assisting the church and its members in their mission.
Monica is married to Barry, a lifelong Kennett Square resident, and they have two daughters, Mia and Emilie.
Emilie’s Girl Scout troop started meeting at FBC in the fall of 2016.
Rachel Dorman-Wells — custodian
Anna Maloney — J.A.M. Daycare director
Anna Maloney joined the J.A.M. Daycare staff in November 2020 as its newest director.
She has lived in Wilmington, DE, for most of her life. With a degree in early childhood education, Anna has taught in a child development center for infants and toddlers and also taught third grade at a Catholic school in Wilmington. She then decided to go into non-profit work. During that time, the non-profit she worked with partnered with the state of Delaware and created the Help Me Glow program which helps parents promote their child’s healthy development from birth through age 6.
Anna is the parent of two grown girls. They enjoy cooking and baking together, so they look forward to the upcoming holidays every year.
